II. ĐIỂM NGỮ PHÁP (LANGUAGE FOCUS):
1. Modals: “might”
– We use might to say that something is possible in the future. (Chúng ta sử dụng “might (có thể)” để nói về thứ gì đó có khả năng trong tương lai.)
– I / You / He / She / It / We / You / They might have robot helpers.
– I / You / He / She / It / We / You / They might not have robot pets.
E.g: How might homes change in the future?
E.g: Do you think we will have automatic food machines?
We might do.
2. Future simple:
– We use the Future Simple and “think” to give our ideas about the future. (Chúng ta sử dụng thì tương lai đơn và nghĩ để đưa ra ý tưởng của mình về tương lai.)
– I / You / We / They think people will live in megacities.
– He / She / It thinks people will live in megacities.
– I / You / We / They don’t think people will live in megacities.
– He / She / It doesn’t think people will live in megacities.
– I / You / He / She / It / We / You / They won’t live in a megacity.
– What do you think homes will be like?
– I think people will live in smart homes.
3. Indefinite quantifiers:
– We use indefinite quantifiers before nouns to show the amount or quantity if we don’t know exactly how much there is or how many there are.
With countable nouns, we can use:
+ small quantities: a few / some.
+ large quantities: many / lots of / a lot of.
I think a few people will live underground.
I think many people will live under the sea.
